The building is located in one of the major Muslim areas of the city of Toronto. Our premises are only 5 minutes away from Pearson International airport. Our mosque is one of the largest mosques in North America. The area is above 50,000 sq. ft. The prayer areas host more than 5000 Worshippers. In the same building there are other sections used for educational and social purposes. A huge parking lot for more than 200 cars surrounds the building.

Al-Minhaaj: It is according to Ahlu-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah.

Aims and Objectives:

1- To promote and advance the spiritual teachings of Islam in Canada and abroad and to give a good understanding of Islam to everyone and to clear confusion and correct misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
2- To establish good relations with the Community at large by reaching out and helping out in different common activities that intend to relieve the suffering of others or help to create harmony, mutual respect and tolerant environment.
3- To reach the public through the available media and through our publications, newsletters and open houses.

Religious Services Conducted:

The five daily prayers - Friday prayer - Taraaweeh prayers in Ramadan - Eid prayers - Funerals - IMO Imam's office which is open for the community for counseling, consultation, and assistance.

Activities:

· Study circles
· Lectures for Muslims and Non-Muslims in our Lecture and Convention Hall
· Educational Programs for Children, Youth and Adults
· Night and Weekend Classes
· Educational Camps and Excursions
· Publication of Islamic Literature and Pamphlets
· TV and Radio programs which aim at clearing confusion and ambiguities and correcting misconceptions about Islam and Muslims
· Workshops for Hajj, Fasting, Zakaat an other fields.
. Arabic Classes for Adults . Memorization of Qur'an & Hadith

Social Services:
· Food bank for the poor and the needy
· Marriage workshops and assistance programs for youth planning for marriage
· Assisting refugees and victims of war

· Hira Islamic School

· Islamic and Cultural Reference Library
· Fostering Home for orphans and separated children

Message

As-Salaamu alaikum!

The message of IMO is the message of Islam. IMO administration and members of the Jamaa'ah are people who dedicated themselves for the spreading of Islamic principles according to Ahlu as-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah.

The Muslim community of the GTA is a vibrant community with a lot to offer to the community at large. Since the inception, the International Muslims Organization of Toronto known as "IMO" has beem contributing with a lot of services and programs in the welfare of the Muslim community and the Canadian society. We take for serious the reflected image of Islam and Muslims in this country and we are committed to work hard for our future generations and establish a legacy of success and prosperity. 

We take it as a task upon ourselves to establish good relations with both our fellow Muslims and fellow Canadians. Both of our spiritual and administrative leadership are working for more eductional and youth programs as well as the Muslim Community Development in all fields and domains. There is a lot to be done to empower the Muslim individuals especially in terms of education, social welfare and spiritual guidance. Our counseling sessions and daily and weekly programs are meant to answer the needs of the community members.
